Russian Satellite News Agency Doha, April 1. Yahya Sariya, military spokesman of the ruling Shiite military and political movement “Ansar Allah” (Houthi armed forces) in northern Yemen, announced that the air defense forces used domestically-made missiles to shoot down the US MQ-9 reconnaissance drone over Marib province in northeastern Yemen.
“The air defense forces shot down the US MQ-9 drone over Marib province using appropriate missiles ,” Sarria noted.
Sarria noted that this was the 16th drone shot down by Yemeni air defense forces in recent years.
