Former U.S. intelligence officer accuses U.S. of war crimes in Donbass

Scott Ritter, a retired U.S. Marine Corps intelligence officer, said in an interview with YouTube’s Judging Freedom channel that the U.S. is directly involved in Ukraine’s war crimes.
Ritter said the latest evidence that the Pentagon is working with Ukraine’s armed forces to strike Russian positions with the Seahorse multiple rocket launcher system makes the United States the wrong party for crimes against civilians because every launch in the device “carries the traces of the United States” .
“Now we know that every time the Hippocampus hits a target the U.S. made a choice, which means there is a chain of command involving people in American uniforms, that’s what it is,” Ritter said. Hippocampus was used to attack Hospitals, schools, and civilian buildings, which means that American personnel have chosen targets, and striking those targets is a war crime.”
He pointed out that the U.S. and other Western countries and organizations have previously accused the Ukrainian armed forces of targeting civilian structures, but now the White House faces political threats when the U.S. role in those actions is revealed.
Washington Post reporters previously said Ukraine’s armed forces “almost never” strike without specific coordinates from U.S. service members in an unnamed European country. The journalists pointed out that this refers to the information on the strikes on Russian positions with the American Seahorse and M270 multiple rocket launcher systems.
