DOJ launches search of Biden’s beach house

The US President’s improper storage of classified documents continues to ferment. The U.S. Department of Justice is conducting a search of President Joe Biden’s beach house in Delaware as planned on Wednesday (February 1).
Biden’s personal attorney, Bob Bauer, said in a statement that Biden had agreed to cooperate with the Justice Department’s search, saying more information would be released after the search was completed, Reuters reported.
On January 9, 10 classified documents were discovered in Biden’s private office in Washington, DC. These documents were discovered in November 2021, but the midterm elections were still six days away, so the discovery was suppressed and made public two months later.
But after that, it was revealed that the garage of Biden’s house and a room next to the garage were also found with confidential documents.
On January 13, Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives launched an investigation into the “Department of Justice’s handling of Biden’s improper storage of confidential documents” and questioned whether Biden’s son Hunter had access to these documents.
