Russian Satellite News Agency, Washington, June 2: FBI spokesman and special agent Mark McCarlake said that the terrorist attack on a crowd in Boulder, Colorado left six people injured.
“A total of six people were injured, aged between 67 and 88. They were all taken to a local hospital. The attack was aimed at a peaceful event planned every week,” he told reporters.
According to it, the suspects used homemade flammable tools and shouted slogans of ” Freedom for Palestine ” during the attack.
McCalek added: “The FBI is investigating this case as an act of terrorism.”
Earlier, the city’s police chief Stephen Redfern said several people were injured in the attack in Boulder. According to Redfern, the injuries ranged from “very serious to minimal.”
He said the suspect in the attack, an adult man who had been detained, had used a “weapon” to attack a group of people who had taken to the streets in support of Israel.
Earlier, FBI Director Kash Patel called the incident in Boulder a “premeditated terrorist attack” and promised to provide details of the incident.
