Moscow, May 25 (Sputnik) – US President Donald Trump has asked Harvard University to provide information on foreign students studying at the university.
Trump posted on the social network “Truth Social”: “Why doesn’t Harvard University talk about the fact that nearly 31% of its students come from other countries? And these countries, some of which are not friendly to the United States, neither pay students’ tuition nor intend to pay. No one told us this! We want to know who these foreign students are. This is a reasonable request because we have provided Harvard University with billions of dollars, but Harvard University is reluctant to disclose it. We want to know the names and countries of these students.”
Trump also called on Harvard University to stop asking for government funding.
Trump added in the post: “Harvard has $52 million, let them use it and stop asking the federal government to keep giving them money.”
