MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to a survey conducted by CBS and YouGov, more than 50% of Americans have a negative view of US President Donald Trump’s performance in office.
According to the survey, 55% of Americans are dissatisfied with Trump’s performance as president. On the contrary, 45% have a positive evaluation of his performance in office.
The survey also provides data on Trump’s assessment in February, March and April. Thus, on February 9, Trump had the support of 53% of Americans. In March, the support rate dropped to 50%. In April, only 45% of Americans supported the US leader.
The survey was conducted among 2,356 Americans from April 23 to April 25. The survey has a statistical margin of error of 2.4 percentage points.
Earlier, polls from U.S. election forecasters Decision Desk HQ and The Hill showed that President Trump’s approval rating has fallen to its lowest level since his second term amid economic difficulties and public criticism.
