Tennessee general manager Mike Borgonzi said Tuesday the team has “come to a consensus. We’ll pick at No. 1 on Thursday night.”
They are expected to take Ward, a 2024 Heisman Trophy finalist. The Miami quarterback threw for 158 career touchdowns, the most in NCAA history. His 39 passing scores last year also led college football.
