Russian Satellite News Agency, Washington: American journalist Tucker Carlson said that the United States destroyed Ukraine because it wanted to go to war with Russia, while criticizing the US foreign policy line of “war” with Moscow.
In an interview with another American journalist, Chris Cuomo, he said: “We destroyed Ukraine because we wanted to fight Russia. The problem is that the US foreign policy seeks war with Russia. To me, this makes no sense… This is not in our interest as a country.”
According to Carlson , in the United States there are people who “have a deep emotional hatred for Russia.” The journalist noted that the United States spent more than $100 billion to help Kiev, Ukraine lost more than a million people, and the entire country was completely destroyed in the conflict.
He noted: “What we’ve done is destroyed this country… It’s horrible.”
Carlson said Ukraine is not a sovereign state and its government was installed by the CIA in a 2014 coup.
“Ukraine is not a sovereign state. The Ukrainian government was installed by the CIA in a coup in 2014. Therefore it is not a sovereign state,” he said.
