Ahead of Inauguration Day on Monday, President-elect Donald Trump is holding a reception and fireworks show Saturday night at his golf club in Virginia.
On Sunday, he will lay a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery and then hold a “Make America Great Again Victory Rally” in Washington ahead of Monday’s swearing-in ceremony, which has now been moved inside to the Capitol Rotunda because of frigid temperatures in the nation’s capital.
President-elect Donald Trump and Melania Trump took in a fireworks display at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, on Saturday.
Together, they listened to a live performance by Christopher Macchio of “Hallelujah,” “Ave Maria,” “How Great Thou Art” and “God Bless America” while they held hands.
As he returned into the clubhouse, Trump did his signature dance close-up to cameras.
He was joined by his children Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka and Tiffany Trump. The event was held for donors, supporters and friends to kick off celebrations ahead of Inauguration Day on Monday.
Trump did not give remarks to the press.
President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to meet with Senate Majority Leader John Thune and House Speaker Mike Johnson on Tuesday, Trump’s first full day in office, multiple sources told ABC News.
The meetings are expected to take place separately at the White House and will mark one of Trump’s first meetings as president.
It comes as the president-elect pushes his party to pass sweeping legislation on the border, energy and taxes. The meeting with Thune also comes as the Senate considers Trump’s Cabinet nominees.
Offices for the Speaker of the House and the Majority Leader declined to comment.

Maj. Gen. John Andonie, the commanding general of the District of Columbia National Guard, told ABC News’ MaryAlice Parks that he has “never felt more confident about” about the National Guard’s security posture ahead of the big day.
The last-minute move inside the Capitol Rotunda is something that the National Guard members are adjusting to, but he added that their plan is still sound.
“We actually did rehearse several contingencies … and that was just one of several contingencies we’ve been looking at. This is not a surprise,” he said.
The Special Air Mission plane carrying President-elect Donald Trump and his family has taken off from Florida and is en route to Washington, D.C., for the inauguration events.
He is expected to land at Washington Dulles International Airport later this evening.
Despite the last-second change of venue, Trump told ABC News’ Rachel Scott the Big Tech CEOs he invited to the inauguration are “happier” about the change in plans because of the cold and said he expects all of them are still coming.
“We have almost 700 seats. It’s not small by any means, but it’s small by comparison to being outside,” he said. “They’re all coming. Every one is coming from the companies.”
