A local source told Russia’s Sputnik news agency that a US military base near the Deir ez-Zor el Omar oil field in eastern Syria was attacked by a drone.
“Four drones attacked the US base from the northeast side . They targeted objects inside the base and hit them directly,” the source noted.
The same US military base was also attacked by two drones last Sunday.
The United States has a total of 28 facilities in Syria, including 24 military bases and 4 outposts, which are often attacked by drones and missiles.
