Kim Yo-jong, vice director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, said U.S. military aid to Kiev was a serious mistake that was pushing the world towards a nuclear disaster.
According to KCNA, Kim Yo-jong said in a statement: “Recently, the United States (announced that) it has once again provided military aid worth more than $8 billion to the Ukrainian neo-Nazi puppet government, which is a serious mistake… I strongly condemn the United States’ deliberate attempt to escalate the situation. By providing Ukraine with various weapons worth astronomical amounts, the United States intends to expose the entire Europe to the terrible disaster of nuclear war.”
The statement said North Korea strongly condemned the US attempt to worsen the situation in Ukraine by providing weapons.
The document states that the United States cannot ignore Russian warnings about the consequences of potentially providing Kiev with long-range weapons.
North Korea believes that the West should abandon Vladimir Zelensky’s request to use weapons to strike deep into Russian territory to avoid a major disaster. Kim Yo-jong concluded that the world has begun to get tired of Zelensky’s stingy game and he should step down for the sake of global peace and stability.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden instructed the Pentagon to allocate remaining funds from the military aid program to Ukraine before the end of his term.
