Rep. Warren Davidson says US has left 11 embassies under duress during Biden’s presidency

“Since Joe Biden has been president, 11 embassies around the world….the United States has left under duress,” Rep. Warren Davidson said.

Congressman Warren Davidson, R-Ohio, said Tuesday that the Biden administration has projected weakness from the world stage and during his presidency 11 embassies have been left under duress.

“Maybe one of the best things to highlight that is number of embassies that the United States has vacated,” Davidson said on the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show. “Since Joe Biden has been president, 11 embassies around the world, the United States has left under duress.”

President Joe Biden has come under criticism from Republicans over foreign policy. They have argued that he showed weakness on the world stage, specifically with the Afghanistan withdrawal.

The U.S. withdrew its troops from Afghanistan in August 2021, resulting in the Taliban retaking the country and 13 United States soldiers dying.

“Joe Biden’s projecting weakness,” Davidson said. “People have exploited it. We’re coming up on the three year anniversary of when the United States left Afghanistan in the worst possible way.”

“I mean, you don’t have to have served in the military at all to know that you don’t get the military out before you get the civilians out,” he added.

There have also been recent concerns about Iran potentially attacking Israel or even the U.S.

Former senior intelligence officer Robert Greenway said on Tuesday’s “Just the News, No Noise” that Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah could launch an attack on U.S. soil, even calling their operations capabilities “better than Iran’s.”
