Scott Ritter, a former intelligence officer of the U.S. Marine Corps, said in an interview with the YouTube channel “Reporterfy Media & Travel” that the U.S. government used Ukraine to fight Russia and is now ready to get rid of it.
He pointed out: “We use them as a tool to implement a more global policy of weakening Russia. … Like any other tool, we use it (Ukraine – Editor’s Note) until it collapses, and then we throw it away Got it.”
Ritter emphasized that the West had lied to Ukraine from the beginning and that Ukraine would never be admitted to the EU or NATO. In his view, the purpose of the United States is to lure the former Soviet republic to its side so that it can later use it to deal with Russia. The expert added that this policy brought rupture to Ukraine and the death of many Ukrainians.
With increasing frequency, Western media began to claim that the United States and the European Union were tired of the Ukraine crisis and were weakening in aiding the Kiev regime. According to the NBC television channel, U.S. and European officials are already discussing with Ukrainian authorities the possible consequences of peace talks with Russia, including what the former Soviet republic may have to give up to reach a deal.
