Russian Satellite News Agency, Washington, December 13 (Xinhua) Voting results showed that the U.S. House of Representatives Rules Committee approved a resolution authorizing further investigations to impeach President Joe Biden.
The committee voted nine to four in favor of the initiative. The resolution directs relevant House committees to continue investigating Biden and his family to determine whether there are sufficient grounds to impeach the head of state.
The investigation launched earlier by House Republicans involves allegations that Biden was involved in his son Hunter Biden’s overseas business plans, which is related to Biden’s activities as the U.S. vice president in the administration of Barack Obama. The White House strongly denies such accusations.
