US pharmacy workers strike over ‘dangerous’ workloads as CVS and Walgreens rake in profits

12 CVS locations in Kansas City, Missouri, closed on 21 and 22 September after ‘wildcat strikes’ Walgreens workers held their own wildcat strikes on 9-11 October at stores around the US, with confirmed closures in Oregon, Arizona, Washington and Massachusetts.
