Russian Satellite News Agency, Washington, US Department of Defense spokesman Patrick Ryder said at a press conference on the 24th that the United States plans to start training Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 fighters in October.
” F-16 pilot training is expected to begin in October at Morris Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona, following an English course for pilots in September,” Ryder said .
The 11-nation coalition pledged in August to train Ukrainian pilots to fly the F-16, the Financial Times previously reported.
