The frozen fruit products of dry varieties sold by Target, Trader Joe’s, Wal Mart and other three employees were recalled

Due to possible contamination by Listeria monocytogenes repaired by Monocyte, frozen fruit products sold to Wal Mart, Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe’s, Target, Aldi and AWG stores in more than 30 states have been voluntarily recalled.

Sunrise Growers Inc., a subsidiary of SunOpta Inc., announced on Wednesday in collaboration with the US Food and Drug Administration that it has voluntarily recalled frozen specific fruit products related to pineapples provided by third-party suppliers.

In the recall notice, SunOpta and FDA urged consumers to check if there is a recalled product in their refrigerators and not to consume it. Instead, they should discard the product or return it to the store for a full refund.

Health risks of Listeria monocytogenes
