Biden’s announcement of a “major press conference” caused confusion among reporters due to a verbal error

US President Biden held an event with economic advisors at the White House today, during which he spoke to reporters and unexpectedly announced that a “major press conference” would be held in the afternoon, causing confusion for the media. However, this should have been just a slip of his tongue.
According to Agence France-Presse, Joe Biden’s “major press conference” has not occurred, and there are no press conferences included in the itinerary. Unless it is a national crisis or a shocking major event, the US presidential press conference usually announces it a long time in advance, usually a few days in advance.
Biden was criticized for holding too few press conferences. After finishing his meeting schedule with economic advisors, he immediately bought Taco in Washington to participate in the annual celebration of the Latin American community, Cinco de Mayo.
According to a source familiar with the matter, Biden actually refers to (or intends to refer to) an interview that has been scheduled to air on Microsoft National Broadcasting Corporation (MSNBC) tonight.
