Los Angeles prosecutors are investigating sexual assault allegations made against disgraced artist and music executive Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs, an official said Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When asked if Combs was the target of a probe concerning alleged attacks against a male victim in 2020 and 2021, a spokesperson for L.A. County District Attorney Nathan Hochman confirmed the investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn the fall of 2025, LAPD and LASD each presented a separate sexual assault investigation for one victim to the LA County District Attorney\u2019s Office,\u201d the DA\u2019s rep said in a statement. \u201cWe are reviewing the case.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The allegations were made by publicist and record producer Jonathan Hay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hay gave NBC News permission to identify him by name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cStanding as a survivor of the actions involving Sean Diddy Combs and Christopher CJ Wallace, I view the validation of my accounts by the LAPD and the Los Angeles County District Attorney\u2019s Office as a critical juncture,\u201d Hay said in a statement to NBC News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis development represents a substantial advancement in my pursuit of complete accountability. Justice is prevailing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Combs was convicted last year on federal charges that he transported a girlfriend and another woman across state lines for prostitution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was cleared of more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Combs was sentenced to 50 months behind bars, though the disgraced musician is appealing his convictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\u2019s now at the low-security Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Attorneys for Combs did not immediately respond to messages Tuesday seeking comment on his behalf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
