A purported suicide note by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has been released by a judge, according to multiple reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The New York Times reported on Wednesday that the note, which had spent years sealed, was released by the judge in Epstein\u2019s cellmate\u2019s criminal case. According to the Times, the note allegedly from Epstein starts with: \u201cThey investigated me for months \u2014 FOUND NOTHING!!!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The note goes on by stating that the investigation resulted in charges from years prior, per the Times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt is a treat to be able to choose one\u2019s time to say goodbye,\u201d the note says, according to the outlet. \u201cWatcha want me to do \u2014 Bust out cryin!! NO FUN \u2014 NOT WORTH IT!!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The scandal around Epstein has heated up in the past year, especially surrounding the Trump administration\u2019s handling of files linked to the convicted sex offender. Epstein killed himself in August 2019 as he was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last Thursday, the Times urged a New York courthouse to release an alleged suicide note from Epstein. The newspaper petitioned a judge to unseal the note that the disgraced financier\u2019s cellmate Nicholas Tartaglione said he discovered in July 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a report titled \u201cJeffrey Epstein\u2019s Possible Suicide Note Hidden From Public View,\u201d the Times said that if the note were uncovered, it \u201ccould provide insights into his state of mind\u201d in the period up to Epstein\u2019s death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
