The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner&#8217;s Office said a mandible was also recovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">NBC Los Angeles reported that they were found near a walking trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman, Andrea Moran, said the skull was found during an independent event at the roughly 50-acre park, which includes a river parkway, trails and freshwater wetlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The park is roughly 20 miles south of downtown Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Additional details about the remains were not immediately available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/human-skull-discovered-easter-egg-hunt-california-rcna266998\">Nbcnews<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A human skull was found during an Easter egg hunt in a Southern California park, authorities said Monday.
