Beyonc\u00e9<\/a> is now a billionaire, according to a report<\/a> from Forbes \u2013 becoming the fifth musician to obtain the status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Grammy award-winning artist, 44, has joined the world\u2019s wealthiest people following the success of her Cowboy Carter tour<\/a>, which grossed more than $400m in ticket sales, and an additional $50m in merchandise sales. Her previous Renaissance world tour brought in about more than $579m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Her husband, Jay-Z<\/a>, was the first musician to become a billionaire on Forbes\u2019s list in 2019. Rihanna<\/a>, Bruce Springsteen<\/a> and Taylor Swift<\/a> have also achieved the elite status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Though Beyonc\u00e9 has launched several ventures including a hair care brand, C\u00e9cred, a whiskey label called SirDavis and a clothing line called Ivy Park<\/a>, most of her personal wealth comes from her music \u2013 including revenue from her catalogue and from her global tours \u2013 according to Forbes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2010, she founded Parkwood Entertainment, a management and production company, bringing control of all her artistic ventures \u2013 including music, concerts and documentaries \u2013 in house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Her 2024 album Cowboy Carter<\/a> was critically acclaimed, winning Beyonc\u00e9 her first album of the year Grammy. The tour that followed the album\u2019s release was the world\u2019s highest-grossing music tour of 2025. The three-hour production included guest appearances by her husband, children and former Destiny\u2019s Child bandmates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAcross any category of the entertainment industry, there is practically no enterprise more lucrative than a musician who can sell out stadiums,\u201d Forbes wrote \u2013 noting that the concert tour employed 350 crew members, used 100 semi-trucks worth of equipment, and required eight 747 cargo planes to move the show from city from city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Beyonc\u00e9 began her career as a member of the pop group Destiny\u2019s Child before launching her solo career in the early 2000s. She holds the record for most-awarded and most-nominated artist in Grammy history.
