To mark Mother\u2019s Day, the \u201cAquaman\u201d actor announced Sunday on Instagram<\/a> that she has welcomed twins, daughter Agnes and son Ocean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I\u2019ve strived to build for years,\u201d Heard captioned the post, in part. \u201cToday I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang. My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhen I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever,\u201d she continued. \u201cI thought I couldn\u2019t possibly burst with more joy. Well, now I am bursting times three!!!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Referencing her own journey to have children, Heard wrote that being a mother \u201con my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n To conclude her message, Heard celebrated all mothers \u201cwherever you are today and however you got here,\u201d signing the post, \u201cA x.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n As with daughter Oonagh Paige, 4, Heard has not publicly identified a father of the twins. The actor filed for divorce from Johnny Depp <\/a>in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After Oonagh was born in April 2021, Heard called herself the baby\u2019s \u201cmom and dad\u201d in an Instagram post<\/a> with her daughter. At the time, Heard emphasized her independent route to motherhood on social media<\/a> and said she\u2019s creating a family \u201con my own terms.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way. I hope we arrive at a point in which it\u2019s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib,\u201d Heard wrote in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Heard announced in December 2024 that she would be adding onto her family, though she did not give additional details at the time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
