Elon Musk\u2019s brother, Kimball Musk, urged President Trump\u2002<\/u><\/a>to fire his senior trade advisor Peter Navarro\u2002<\/u><\/a>on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c@realDonaldTrump Mr President, if Peter Navarro has lied to you about Ron Vara, what else has he lied to you about?\u201d Kimball Musk said in a post on X.<\/u><\/a> \u201cPut America first and fire him!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The post follows a fight<\/u><\/a> between tech billionaire and Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) leader Elon Musk\u2002<\/u><\/a>and Navarro over the impact of Trump\u2019s tariffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Musk called Navarro a \u201cmoron\u201d in response to the claims the trade advisor made about Tesla\u2019s manufacturing and assembly process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNavarro is truly a moron. What he says here is demonstrably false,\u201d Musk said on X in response to a video where Navarro claimed Tesla is not a \u201ccar manufacturer\u201d but a \u201ccar assembler.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNavarro is dumber than a sack of bricks,\u201d Musk added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also poked at Navarro, telling him to ask \u201cthe fake expert he invented, Ron Vara.\u201d<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The clash came as Trump has announced sweeping new tariffs, including a 25 percent tariff on imported vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navarro said parts used in his Telsa\u2019s were imported from Japan, China and Taiwan. He argued the administration\u2019s tariffs were aiming to use American manufacturing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Musk has advocated for a \u201czero-tariff situation\u201d between the U.S. and Europe, which prompted Navarro\u2019s criticism that the Tesla CEO didn\u2019t understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt\u2002<\/u><\/a>defended Musk and Navarro\u2019s spat, arguing that \u201cboys will be boys.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
