Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) said\u00a0Thursday on FNC\u2019s \u201cAmerica Reports\u201d that President Joe Biden\u2019s handling of classified materials is a mess exposing a DOJ\u00a0double\u00a0standard.
\nKennedy said, \u201cI just find all of this\u00a0surreal. It\u2019s almost like watching a Quentin Tarantino movie. I suppose my first thought is\u00a0that all of this is yet one more\u00a0example of why in Washington, D.C., if it were not for double\u00a0standards, there won\u2019t be any\u00a0standards at all. I\u2019m not surprised that the\u00a0attorney general has appointed a\u00a0special counsel. I\u2019m not sure he had a choice. The White House has tried, and\u00a0the White House does not have\u00a0enough hazmat suits to clean up\u00a0this mess. Aside from the obvious that the Justice Department is\u00a0investigating President Trump\u00a0for something that President Biden himself may have done,\u00a0there are a lot of other\u00a0intriguing questions for the\u00a0inspector general.\u201d
\nHe continued, \u201cWas there a cover-up? The powers that be have known\u00a0about all this since November 2nd. It\u2019s now the middle of January. Was there a cover-up? Who was\u00a0involved?\u201d
\nHe added, \u201cWhat\u2019s the role of the National Archives in all of\u00a0this? The National Archives was\u00a0scathingly critical of President Trump and his documents. They have known about all of\u00a0this since November 2 or\u00a03. They have been missing in\u00a0action with respect to President Biden and his documents. You could not have found them\u00a0with a search party. We still have not heard from\u00a0them.\u00a0What\u2019s up with that?\u201d<\/p>\n
