CNN commentator Scott Jennings\u2002<\/u><\/a>said President Biden\u2002<\/u><\/a>is leaving office in \u201cdisgrace.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jennings joined host Dana Bash\u2002<\/u><\/a>and contributor Karen Finney\u2002<\/u><\/a>on Sunday for CNN\u2019s \u201cState of the Union\u201d panel to discuss Biden\u2019s time in office as it draws to a close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finney argued that while there were concerns about Biden\u2019s health and fitness for office that emerged earlier this year, he largely was a good president and the impacts of his work will be felt for years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think he\u2019s gonna leave office in disgrace,\u201d Jennings said in disagreement, as highlighted by Mediaite<\/u><\/a>. \u201cThe Hunter Biden\u2002<\/u><\/a>pardon was disgraceful. He\u2019s going to be remembered largely for inflation and for the disastrous Afghanistan pullout.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jennings continued, highlighting a concern that Biden\u2019s staff covered up a decline in cognitive function ahead of the 2024 presidential election and \u201cfor all four years.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s going to be a really ugly chapter,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s a diminished presidency because of it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think we still don\u2019t know the full extent of what they did to try to hide what they\u2019ve been doing over in the West Wing,\u201d Jennings concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With just under a month until President-elect Trump\u2002<\/u><\/a>takes office, Biden has set in motion some of his last-minute plans as president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a controversial move, he pardoned his son<\/u><\/a>, Hunter Biden, and commuted the sentences<\/u><\/a> of 37 people on federal death row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
