The husband of a San Antonio woman who has been missing for a month has been charged with murder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brad Simpson is charged in the death of Suzanne Simpson<\/a>, 51, a mother of four who was last seen outside her home in San Antonio on Oct. 7 by her neighbor, officials have said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Texas Department of Public Safety provided no additional details Thursday in announcing the charges. Officials will hold a news conference Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Authorities have not publicly announced that Suzanne Simpson’s body has been found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Simpson was arrested Oct. 10 on charges of family violence, according to court records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n No one with the Bexar County\u2019s public defender\u2019s office, which was representing Simpson, could immediately be reached for comment Thursday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n NBC affiliate WOAI reported that neighbors called police last month because they heard the couple arguing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A police report obtained by the station said a neighbor saw the couple physically fighting<\/a>. The neighbor also later heard yelling coming from nearby woods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A federal complaint was filed against Simpson the day after he was arrested last month. He is accused of unlawfully possessing a short-barrel rifle that was not registered to him, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
