President-elect Donald Trump said that no price tag will keep him from implementing his plan for mass deportation of illegal migrants once in office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking with NBC News<\/a> on Thursday, the president-elect said that he would be working to make the border \u201cstrong and powerful\u201d and that he would have \u201cno choice\u201d but to carry out his plan of mass deportations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe obviously have to make the border strong and powerful and, and we have to \u2014 at the same time, we want people to come into our country,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd you know, I\u2019m not somebody that says, \u2018No, you can\u2019t come in.\u2019 We want people to come in.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n During his campaign, the president-elect said that he would be carrying out the \u201clargest deportation effort in American history.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cA majority of Americans want mass deportations for illegal immigrants,\u201d he said. \u201cOn Day One back in the White House, President Trump will begin the largest criminal deportation operation of illegal immigrants and restore the rule of law.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Trump told NBC News that no \u201cprice tag\u201d would prevent this plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt\u2019s not a question of a price tag. It\u2019s not \u2014 really, we have no choice. When people have killed and murdered, when drug lords have destroyed countries, and now they\u2019re going to go back to those countries because they\u2019re not staying here. There is no price tag,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
