The author suggests that after the cancellation of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sputniknews.cn\/20241025\/1062289474.html\">US<\/a>&nbsp;hypersonic missile AGM-183 program, the B-52J can become a carrier of hypersonic attack cruise missiles (HACM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">In September, the National Interest published a columnist article saying that the plan to modernize the B-52 bomber was surprising as the fifth-generation F-22 Raptor fighter was being retired.
