{"id":32587,"date":"2024-09-23T23:10:01","date_gmt":"2024-09-24T04:10:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ustower.net\/?p=32587"},"modified":"2024-09-23T23:11:00","modified_gmt":"2024-09-24T04:11:00","slug":"woman-rescued-after-crash-leaves-porsche-dangling-from-florida-parking-garage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ustower.net\/?p=32587","title":{"rendered":"Woman rescued after crash leaves Porsche dangling from Florida parking garage"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">A woman was rescued after a crash&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcmiami.com\/news\/local\/porsche-suv-left-dangling-from-parking-garage-in-coral-gables\/3424343\/\">left a Porsche SUV dangling from the third floor of a parking garage<\/a>&nbsp;in Coral Gables, Florida, on Monday, officials said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The incident happened on the third floor of a garage at 1567 San Remo Avenue after officials said it appeared the woman driving the SUV accidentally hit the accelerator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Coral Gables Fire Rescue officials said the crash sent the SUV through a concrete barrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Aerial footage from NBC South Florida&#8217;s helicopter showed the white SUV over the edge of the garage and against a tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Officials said there was a woman inside the vehicle that was hanging halfway out but was being held up by the tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Rescue workers used ropes to bring the woman to safety, and she was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPretty sure that she was pretty shaken up, but looking at it from outside, she was fairly calm considering how dramatic this incident was,\u201d Coral Gables Fire Rescue Division Chief Xavier Jones said.An employee of a doctor\u2019s office across the street said they heard the moment of impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI basically heard a car peeling out, like they hit the gas by accident or trying to go really fast.
