Former President Donald Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social on Christmas Day to air grievances against his opponents including President Joe Biden, the US Department of Justice, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“2024 WILL GO DOWN AS THE YEAR OF GREAT AND FULLY COORDINATED ILLEGAL ELECTION INTERFERENCE BY CROOKED JOE BIDEN, THE WORST AND MOST CORRUPT PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, THE DOJ, FBI, A.G.\u2019s, & D.A.\u2019s THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY,” he posted<\/a> on Christmas morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Perhaps the former president saw it as a gift to his followers to unwrap on Christmas morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Trump<\/a>\u00a0then wished a \u201cMerry Christmas\u201d to special counsel Jack Smith whom he called an \u201cout of control lunatic\u201d, and to: \u201cWorld Leaders, both good and bad, but none of which are as evil and \u2018sick\u2019 as the THUGS we have inside our Country,\u201d he wrote, before adding: \u201cOpen Borders, INFLATION, Afghanistan Surrender, Green New Scam, High Taxes, No Energy Independence… are looking to destroy our once great USA. AGAIN, MERRY CHRISTMAS!\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The former president is facing a slurry of legal trials in\u00a02024<\/a>\u00a0which will most likely clash with his campaign to return to the Oval Office. Over a five-month span Trump was changed in four criminal cases: in Washington, DC he faces four felony counts for his alleged effort to\u00a0overturn the 2020 election<\/a>, he faces 13 felony countries in\u00a0Georgia<\/a>\u00a0for election what is claimed to be interference, in New York he faces 34 felony counts for a\u00a0hush money payment<\/a>, and in Florida he faces more than 35 felony countries for stowing away\u00a0classified documents<\/a>\u00a0after leaving office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And yet, despite the former president\u2019s legal troubles he remains the favorite among Republican voters and is presumed to win the GOP presidential nomination, according to polls. He currently has a\u00a054% lead<\/a>\u00a0over his fellow Republican candidates. Meanwhile, his lead over Joe Biden is at 1.9%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
