{"id":21024,"date":"2023-12-05T01:54:28","date_gmt":"2023-12-05T07:54:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ustower.net\/?p=21024"},"modified":"2023-12-05T01:54:35","modified_gmt":"2023-12-05T07:54:35","slug":"australia-developing-secret-cloud-initiative-interoperable-with-us-uk-intelligence-chief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ustower.net\/?p=21024","title":{"rendered":"Australia Developing &#8216;Secret Cloud Initiative&#8217; Interoperable With US, UK &#8211; Intelligence Chief"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>WASHINGTON (Sputnik) \u2013 Australia is working to develop a &#8220;top secret cloud initiative&#8221; that will be &#8220;interoperable&#8221; with US and UK intelligence agencies, its director-general of national intelligence said Monday.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><em>&#8220;In Australia, we are working very hard on a top-secret cloud initiative&#8230;what that will do is obviously transform how we do our work as agencies but also it&#8217;ll open up a shared collaborative space,&#8221;&nbsp;<\/em>Andrew Shearer said at a talk hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Shearer added that the initiative would make Australia &#8220;interoperable&#8221;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sputnikglobe.com\/20230729\/us-australia-agree-to-create-joint-intelligence-center-by-2024-1112246202.html\">with the US and UK intelligence communities<\/a>. He said that the project was being designed with &#8220;interoperability with our most important partners right from the start.&#8221;<a href=\"https:\/\/sputnikglobe.com\/20231204\/australia-developing-secret-cloud-initiative-interoperable-with-us-uk---intelligence-chief-1115378054.html\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Shearer said that post 9\/11, Australia&#8217;s intelligence agencies had been going through a &#8220;similar journey&#8221; to those of the US to heighten collaboration.
