That\u2019s easy,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/avatar-3-star-wars-release-dates-disney-e86969d1b3d3d69fb51e2fcc50a56181\"><u>\u201cAvatar.\u201d<\/u><\/a>&nbsp;What about the record for the most balloons popped in one minute by a pogostick? Or the longest journey in a pumpkin boat?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">These and many more superlatives are in the latest edition of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.guinnessworldrecords.com\/\"><u>Guinness World Records,<\/u><\/a>&nbsp;which for 2024\u2019s edition has taken our watery world as its theme. That means there\u2019s extra entries for aquatic record-breakers, the largest octopuses, largest hot spring and deepest shark among the 2,638 achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTo me the best records are the ones that you tell your friends in the playground or your mates down the bar, or wherever it is, in the gym. You just say \u2018Look I saw this amazing thing today.\u2019 That to me, is the sign of a good record,\u201d says Editor-in-Chief Craig Glenday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">He estimates that 75% to 80% of the entries are new and updated, reflecting a huge oversupply of content.
