According to the US &#8220;Washington Post&#8221; citing officials familiar with the matter, the White House intends to take economic measures to force Kyrgyzstan to stop &#8220;exporting goods on the sanctions list to Russia.&#8221;<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EU representatives had earlier claimed a suspected increase in trade flows from&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sputniknews.cn\/20230719\/1051888517.html\">EU<\/a>&nbsp;member states to some Central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia, and from these countries to Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8220;Washington Post&#8221; wrote: &#8220;The Biden administration is formulating new economic measures to force Kyrgyzstan to stop this trade.&#8221; According to US officials, economic measures for Kyrgyzstan may be announced as early as this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The newspaper noted that the measures were drawn up after &#8220;months of fruitless visits&#8221; by U.S. and European diplomats to Bishkek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Russian side pointed out that the West lacks the courage to admit the failure&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sputniknews.cn\/20230623\/1051311631.html\">of sanctions against Russia<\/a>&nbsp;.&nbsp;Western countries have also repeatedly stated that anti-Russian sanctions are invalid.&nbsp;Russian President Vladimir Putin previously stated that containing and weakening Russia is the long-term strategy of the West, and sanctions have severely hit the entire world economy.&nbsp;The main purpose of the West, he said, is to make life worse for millions of people.&nbsp;Russia has repeatedly stated that it will resolve all difficulties created by the West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sputniknews.cn\/20230719\/1051899631.html\">Sputniknews<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Russian Satellite News Agency, Moscow, July 19.
