On \u201cAmerica\u2019s Got Talent,\u201d<\/u><\/a> a great act can warm the heart \u2014 or it can rattle some nerves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dancer-contortionist El Invertebrado<\/u><\/a> (The Invertebrate) shocked judges Simon Cowell<\/u><\/a>, Howie Mandel<\/u><\/a>, Sof\u00eda Vergara<\/u><\/a> and Heidi Klum<\/u><\/a> with a spooky pole-dancing routine during the fourth round of auditions Tuesday night. Dressed in ghoulish zombie makeup, the 21-year-old began by popping up in front of the judges\u2019 table, scaring Klum and Mandel out of their seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dominican dancer then astounded the judges and studio audience with his lithe body bending as he artfully wrapped himself around a pole onstage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat was insane,\u201d Vergara said. \u201cIt was horrific and beautiful at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While she was initially frightened, Halloween queen<\/u><\/a> Klum came around to the horror-inspired routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have to admit, when you popped up, I peed myself a little bit,\u201d Klum said. \u201cObviously, I love Halloween, so this is right up my alley. I love you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Invertebrado\u2019s \u201cAGT\u201d fate had a happy ending, as the dancer earned four yeses from the judges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s what else happened on Tuesday\u2019s episode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simon Cowell compares stunt group Warrior Squad to \u2018a machine\u2019<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Indian stunt group Warrior Squad<\/u><\/a> took teamwork to a whole new level. The group wowed the judges, earning a standing ovation with its series of high-flying flips and intricate balancing acts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mandel said the stunt artists\u2019 act was a game-changer for the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen you did that four-man pyramid and you turned, the ability to move that pyramid at the same time was something that I have never seen before,\u201d Mandel said. \u201cYou just raised the bar.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cowell praised the group for its seamless synchronicity onstage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am blown away by this act,\u201d Cowell said. \u201cIt was like a machine: every single part had to work together. It was unbelievable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warrior Squad has another chance to fight for \u201cAGT\u201d victory. The group scored four yeses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simon Cowell loses voice after alien ventriloquist curses him<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cowell\u2019s fierce criticism finally got the best of him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wearing an alien mask and gloves, paired with a hot dog costume, a ventriloquist unsuccessfully auditioned for the judges with a doll-like puppet named Poose. The puppet\u2019s high-pitched, childlike voice drew boos from the audience and earned the ventriloquist four Xs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is coming from someone that knows about ventriloquism,\u201d Vergara said. \u201cYou cannot say you\u2019re a ventriloquist when you have a mask on.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In typical Cowell fashion, the British entertainment mogul gave the ventriloquist a scathing critique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat is the worst act we have seen this year on the show by a mile,\u201d Cowell said. \u201cEverything about that was terrible. Even your voice was annoying.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offended by Cowell\u2019s commentary, the extraterrestrial ventriloquist swore revenge on Cowell. \u201cYou didn\u2019t like my voice,\u201d the contestant said as they exited the stage. \u201cYou are cursed, Simon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the audition, host Terry Crews<\/u><\/a> informed the audience that Cowell had lost his voice<\/u><\/a>, preventing him from giving verbal feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy least favorite talent is a mime, and now I\u2019m working with one,\u201d Mandel joked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flaming Rubik\u2019s cube solver stuns judges: \u2018Something\u2019s going to go wrong\u2019<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rubik\u2019s cube solver Thomas Vu<\/u><\/a> brought a fiery edge to the iconic puzzle toy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 35-year-old contestant upped the ante on his speedy cube-solving skills by greasing himself up and lighting himself on fire during his act. Vu paced the stage as his clothes began to burn under the extreme heat. But the challenge wasn\u2019t too hot to handle, as Vu solved the cube before being extinguished onstage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so scary it made us look at each other going, \u2018Oh my God, something\u2019s going to go wrong,\u2019 \u201d Mandel said. \u201cBut you survived, and that is amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Klum admired Vu\u2019s nerve-wracking act. \u201cI couldn\u2019t look away,\u201d she said. \u201cYou really are fearless.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Vu failed to earn Vergara\u2019s stamp of approval (\u201cI was scared\u201d), he earned a trio of yeses from Cowell, Mandel and Klum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHow can you say no to a man that sets himself on fire doing a Rubik\u2019s cube?\u201d Klum said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

French dance troupe Murmuration wins Golden Buzzer with blindfolded routine<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

French dance group Murmuration<\/u><\/a> lit up the \u201cAGT\u201d stage with an undeniable je ne sais quoi. The 65-person troupe, whose members were blindfolded for the entire performance, floored the judges with crisp, synchronized arm movements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou guys were so amazingly in sync even though you couldn\u2019t see anything,\u201d Klum said. \u201cIt was so elegant, with so much grace. I thought it was fantastic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mandel gushed over the novelty of the group\u2019s dance routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI was mesmerized,\u201d Mandel said. \u201cI find it almost more magnificent when you get a large group of people, and the movements are smaller but perfect. It blew me away.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The comedian was so impressed that he got up out of his seat to mimic the group\u2019s choreography. Mid-dance, Mandel slammed down on the Golden Buzzer button, sending Murmuration directly to the \u201cAGT\u201d live shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019re just amazing,\u201d Mandel told the group. \u201cYou just move me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
