Elliott then made contact with Hamlin&#8217;s right rear, forcing him head-on into the wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hamlin seemed to insinuate that Elliott&#8217;s move was intentional by calling it a &#8220;tantrum&#8221; and wants Elliott off the racetrack for next Sunday&#8217;s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/auto\/attributes\/racing\"><u>Enjoy Illinois 300<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I got right-rear hooked in the middle of the straightaway. It\u2019s a tantrum, and he shouldn\u2019t be racing next week. Right rear hooks are absolutely unacceptable,&#8221;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nascar\/2023\/05\/29\/denny-hamlin-fumes-chase-elliott-coca-cola-600-wreck\/70267191007\/\"><u>Hamlin said<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;It is the same thing that Bubba Wallace did with Kyle Larson, exact same. He shouldn\u2019t be racing.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The broadcast says Hamlin&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NASCARONFOX\/status\/1663307958292291585?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1663307958292291585|twgr^4e34fbbaafcd9bdcf4601eb9b5fb8be2f08f36c0|twcon^s1_&amp;ref_url=https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nascar\/2023\/05\/29\/denny-hamlin-fumes-chase-elliott-coca-cola-600-wreck\/70267191007\/\"><u>went on his radio<\/u><\/a>&nbsp;and called the move &#8220;complete BS.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elliott claims he did nothing intentional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The 11 ran us up in the fence there, and once you tear the right side off these things, it&#8217;s kind of over,&#8221; Ellliott said. &#8220;Once you hit the wall in these things, you can&#8217;t drive them anymore. Just an unfortunate circumstance.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NASCAR will investigate the crash,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nascar\/2023\/05\/29\/denny-hamlin-fumes-chase-elliott-coca-cola-600-wreck\/70267191007\/\"><u>USA Today reports<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both were evaluated and released from the care center.
