A 23-year-old man is accused of severely beating his dad\u2019s girlfriend before setting her on fire inside their Ohio house Thursday, according to a report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Robbi Robinson, Jr. was charged by Fairfield Township police with aggravated arson and felonious assault in connection with the heinous attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Disturbing police body camera footage obtained by WLWT captures the burned woman begging for help and gasping for air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI can\u2019t breathe! My inhaler\u2019s in the house \u2026 I can\u2019t breathe, he knocked my teeth out,\u201d the 50-year-old woman, who has not been named, can be heard desperately pleading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The woman, who is dating Robinson\u2019s father, told officers the young man beat her before dousing her with gasoline and throwing a flame at her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She jumped out the second-floor window in an effort to escape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The woman was airlifted to the hospital with second-degree burns covering half her body and was placed into a coma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the footage, Robinson can be heard repeatedly proclaiming his innocence and shock that his father\u2019s girlfriend was injured so badly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know what happened. It just went off,\u201d said Robinson, who was seen wearing a winter jacket despite temperatures reaching 80 degrees that day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When arresting officers told Robinson the woman he referred to as his stepmother jumped into the backyard, he appeared stunned: \u201cOh, she did?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Robinson\u2019s neighbor, Dennis Williams, told the outlet he was the first to call 911 after his frantically barking dogs led him to the dramatically wounded woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI see one of my neighbors laying in the grass, and she looked like she was covered in dust. So I come running over, and her immediate action was, \u2018He set me on fire,’\u201d Williams said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Robinson\u2019s motives for the gruesome attack are still unclear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is being held at the Butler County Jail on a $200,000 bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
