The Federal Bureau of Investigation descended on a luxury Florida condo owned by two Russian businessmen at Trump Towers of Sunny Isles Beach on Thursday, according to a report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A squad of FBI special agents and local police raided the third building of the Sunshine State complex, the Miami Herald reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The target of the search, Unit 4102, is owned by the shell company MIC-USA LLC, which is controlled by Russian businessmen Oleg Sergeyevich Patsulya and Agunda Konstantinovna Makeeva, property records show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A spokesperson for the FBI\u2019s Miami field office told the outlet it \u201cwas conducting court-ordered law enforcement activity in the vicinity of that location,\u201d but provided no other information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Neither Patsulya and Makeeva responded to the Miami Herald\u2019s request for comment and could not be reached Saturday by The Post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Patsulya\u2019s wife, Roza Pereira \u2014 who is listed on the corporate paperwork for MIC-USA \u2014 told the outlet she was aware of the raid but was prohibited from disclosing information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI can\u2019t talk about it,\u201d Pereira said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe lawyer [for my husband] said not to talk to anyone. \u2026 I have no idea what it\u2019s about.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Former president Donald Trump licensed his name to the three luxury high-rise condos in the years before he took office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Property records show that MIC-USA bought their 41st-story, three-bedroom condo in 2013 for $1.65 million a decade ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Patsulya and Makeeva were sued by BAC Florida Bank \u2014 which financed their condo buy \u2014 seven years later for allegedly defaulting on the $975,000 mortgage on the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The dispute was resolved and the condo is still owned by the two Russians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sunny Isles Beach has been dubbed \u201cLittle Moscow\u201d thanks to the influx of Russian immigrants and wealth that has flowed through the city in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Neither Trump International Beach Resort, which oversees the towers, nor the Sunny Isles Police Department could not be immediately reached for comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
